"Marriages of Some Virginia Residents, 1607 - 1800, is a series of books designed to cover a wider scope of information than other compilations limited to the Returns of Ministers, Parish Registers, or records of marriages in Court Houses.  In each instance such marriages occurred within the boundaries of the Old Dominion."
